The Bunaken Island Resort is located straight at the powder-white Liang Beach on the western part of Bunaken Island. Guests can easily recognize the resort, with its 2 meter high Buddha overlooking the entire coast line. The stunning beachfront resort provides spacious and luxury accommodation in a tranquil and lush tropical environment with two Villas (150m²) and 6 Bungalows (60m²), all built in the famous Indonesian Minahasa Style, which are tastefully furnished in a typical Balinese flair.

The Bunaken Island Eco-Restaurant is located in the center of the resort and on top of Liang Beach hill, facing the ocean, while overlooking the shallow blue lagoon and the nearby volcano Manado Tua Island. Guests will have the joy of zipping on a tropical sun downer, while enjoying most memorable and spectacular sunsets.
Especially for "Macro Diving Fans" all six islands of the Bunaken National Marine Park (Bunaken Island, Manado Tua, Siladen, Manthehage, Nain & Manado Coast) are highly recognized and treasured by diving experts all over the world.
Sven, our PADI certified diving instructor, offers a great variety of fun dives and naturally all levels of PADI dive courses; starting from the Open Water Course, all the way until to the Dive Master course.
All dive trips start conveniently, immediately from the beachfront in front of the resort. Also, snorkeling can be carried out right from the beach, while discovering our house reef with a stunning drop-off zone, only a few fin kicks away from the resort.
Diving and snorkeling equipment are available for rent at the dive shop, straight at the beachfront.
But it is not just diving, but also a variety of most interesting adventure and fun excursions, like our dolphin & whale watching boat tour, combined with snorkeling and swimming with dolphins, the adventurous fishing tour, the highly recommended volcano trekking tour to Manado Tua island, the picturesque rainforest excursion, the Manado Highland Trip, filled with lots of cultural highlights and not to forget the stunning Manado City Tour, which is always good for shopping and discovering the amazing local weekly market.
