THE RESORT-
Our rooms are equipped with traditional local furniture and all have an electric fan to cool the rooms on hot days. Furthermore every bungalow has its own spacious en suite bathroom with cold shower and an airy terrace.In the palm trees surrounding the bungalows, you will find numerous hammocks, in which you can laze the day away with a good book and completely relax.
The resort disposes of:
3 Double Bungalows, 2 Hobbit Houses, 4 A-Frame Bungalows and 2 Family Safari Bungalows. All of which are made from traditional local materials.
The resort's private generator supplies part time electricity (220V, 60 Hz) to the restaurant at daytime and now even during a couple of hours in the day, while the island's generator supplies power to the whole resort from 6:00 pm to 12:00 midnight. Solar lamps illuminate the resort at night.Estrella (Babie) Zagorski, owner of the resort, has an exotic garden, which prides itself of a wide variety of flowers and Orchids, ornamental and herbal plants and trees. She grows her own Bergamot, Ginger, Galangal, Basil, Lemon grass, Turmeric and plenty of Aloe Vera.

THE RESTAURANT-
Babie's many years of work experience in the restaurant industry in Germany, coupled with her travels around the world contribute to the variety and versatility of her menu. She speaks German, English and of course her native Filipino tongue.
Her good food, be it the well-spiced curry dishes, the al dente Spaghetti, vegetables cooked in coconut milk and served in a clay pot, her seafood basket, the vegetarian meat (gluten from flour) and a variety of international meat dishes will only make you want to wait for meal times. The native and well-designed interior of the restaurant provides space for a pool table, a piano, and information center, a bar and an office with an Internet connection.
The La Estrella Beach Resort also has a beach bar.
THE DIVE CENTER-
Our Dive Center at the Resort, directly on the beach
The diveshop has more than 10 complete sets of equipment to rent, 2 Bauer compressors and more than 40 12l tanks. There is a big outrigger boat and a speedboat with outbord engine. They offer all PADI Courses. Several diveguides with years of experience are always prepared to increase their diving skills and to offer a top experience to their guests.
Cabilao boasts a diverse marine life and a reef, teeming with life which makes the island famous for diving. Pygmy seahorse, nudibranchs, Pipefish, Frogfish and Gobies are just some of a host of small creatures in the reef. Jacks, Tunas, Barracudas and Napoleons linger around especially when the current is strong. Thresher and Hammerhead sharks also cruise along the reef.
